The Incredible Gift of Quantum Touch!

We are all spiritual beings having a human experience.  And we're here to realize the divinity we truly are. Our programming tells us we must learn facts and figures and we get our "knowledge" from books and education.  But as we can see from the state of our planet right now, that doesn't seem to be working.  Look at all the "educated" leaders running the world right now. 

What does work is to sink down from being in our heads to being in our hearts.  When you keep your mental focus in your heart and live from there, all forms of miracles are possible.

No...I haven't gone over the edge.  I'm not going to "preach" voo doo to you.  What I'm talking about is being tested and proven by quantum physicists.  You don't need to wait to have scientists prove this to you.  You can experience it for yourself.

That is just what I did this weekend.  I've been experimenting with living from my heart and the miracles created there have been breathtaking. 

I became a Reiki Master 10 years ago and loved it. Living from my heart led me to pick up a book called Quantum Touch.  It was written by Richard Gordon and it gave a very simple breathing and visualization technique anyone can use to "run energy" and help people with all kinds of issues.

Using the technique amplified the energy I felt and the healings were greatly improved.  I continued to learn and try new ways to work with the healing energy.  And so did Richard and thousands of other people around the world. 

I took Core Transformation which was discovered by a great healer who is on Richards team.  It was just that. Transformational. 

This last weekend I attended a brand new workshop Richard created called Quantum Touch II.  He needs a new name for it.  Perhaps QT to the 10th power?  Because that is what it felt like.  Imagine being able to move bones with a look?  I saw and felt it happen.  But this is just the very tip of the iceberg.

Taking a workshop with Richard was a true gift.  How often does the messenger try to make the message be about them?  Or the message is that their way is the only way?  Richard is the complete antithesis of this.  He is like an innocent child saying, "Hey, check this out!  I tried this and it works.  Now you take the information and see how you can take it and improve it and let's do whatever we can to heal those people who are ready to be healed".

All healing is ultimately self-healing.  The energy can't heal if you aren't ready to heal and you don't do your part to allow the healing to happen.  But when you are ready, this work gives your body the tools to heal.

Healing from the Heart!

Yesterday I held a Health Coach training for my Take Shape For Life team.  It was so inspiring and energizing.  I love to pay attention to the faces and energy of people when they first walk into the room.  Coaches who have been to these trainings already know they will be welcomed into a positive experience. 

New Coaches don't know what to expect.  Or maybe more accurately, they have an expectation already and they are coming to see if it will be met.

When I schedule a training, I set a loosely held agenda of information I think is important to impart.  But I have learned to begin the session and allow it to go where it needs to go.  This always happens because the people I have purposefully aligned myself with have high, positive intentions for themselves, their clients and their business. 

A dear friend and Health Coach agreed to talk about the power of writing down what she wanted,setting time frames along with the action steps needed to receive what she wanted.  Everyone in the room was mesmerized by her talk.  Was it because we haven't heard about the power of written goal setting?  Absolutely NOT!!!  It was her heart-filled delivery of the positive effect it had on her and her business.  It was apparent she wanted to share this to help others also realize their dreams and goals.

Another Health Coach shared a new way she is working with and training her Health Coaches to share this amazing program and opportunity.  She introduced a very innovative, yet simple thing she is doing and the explosion she is seeing in her business because of it.  Once again, while the information was fantastic and helpful, it was her heart-filled desire to help that came through so much more than her words.

Each Coach shared their own weight loss and/or health benefit success and with each success there was sincere applause.  One new Health Coach has lost 61 pounds in 13 weeks and her tears of joy and gratitude were inspirational to people down the street!

When people left the room, their faces were different.  Where there might have been apprehension and trepidation about coming into a room with people they don't know (especially when it has to do with a very potentially emotional issue like weight), there was now a strong knowing they had just been in a room of people truly dedicated to helping us all heal. 

We go through life with so much negativity surrounding us.  Coming into a room where people are welcoming of you regardless of where you are in your program (or if you aren't even planning on going on the program!) and sharing from their heart in a positive and healing way is simply balm for your soul.

Why I Was Drawn to Balance Walking!

The word "balance" comes up in my life consistently.  Enough that I'm finally paying attention.  Fifteen years ago when I was setting up my company, I called it Balance For Health.  I don't even know why.  It just came to me and felt right so I went with it.

That name has proven to be a blueprint for my business.  We don't have optimal health when our lives and bodies aren't in balance.  It's the balance between the yin and the yang.  The masculine and the feminine.  Working and playing.  Activity and rest.  Taking care of everyone else and taking care of ourselves.

In nutrition, I've found the key is in balancing your blood sugar.  Balancing both your macro-nutrients (protein, carbs and fats) and balancing your micro-nutrients (vitamins/minerals...). 

In movement, the key is balancing your periods of activity (including the intensity) and periods of rest. 

In T-Tapp, Teresa even has a whole section of the workout dedicated to improving your balance.  Which works on your CORE!  Do you get the connection?  Balance is CORE to a healthy life.

In life, balancing the amount of time spent working and time spent being with my family and friends.

When I was presented with the opportunity to share a new way of life called Balance Walking, I was instantly intrigued.  I had studied many different walking techniques and had done Nordic Walking and Exerstriding for years.  What made me excited about Balance Walking was it's emphasis on the lifestyle associated with it. 

I read the book Balance Walking - Turn Back The Clock! by Ray Margiano.  Ray is the President of Foot Solutions and he started this new term.  He wrapped a whole balanced lifestyle concept around this program, including eating whole, healthy balanced foods, muscle toning and meditation/relaxation.  It truly is a lifestyle dedicated to bringing balance into your life.

Balance Walking is a program for everyone.  Even if you've never "exercised", you can use the walking poles with this simple technique and feel the positive difference it makes in your health and in your life.

Relax into Your Flow!

Personal "ah ha's" can come at the oddest times.  The key is to be mindful of what is going on in your mind and body during your day.  "Being in the NOW" is the same concept.  Eckhart Tolle coined this phrase and it's quoted all over the place.  I find so many of us read his books and we love the concept.  Putting it into practice is a whole other thing.

Last Sunday in Atlanta was gorgeous and everyone was outside taking in the sunshine.  My Sweetie and I decided to go hit tennis balls.  He is an excellent tennis player and has taught many people how to play.  I haven't played tennis in a long time and I was never very good.  Get the picture?

He started hitting balls to me and everytime I hit a bad shot, I'd swear.  Yes...little me would blurt out nasty words.  After a while, he told me to just relax and have a good time instead of worrying about hitting the perfect shot.  I immediately felt my body tense up.  I wanted to make him wrong.  But of course he was right.  And once I stopped resisting what was right there in my face to see, I relaxed.

I did start to hit the ball better and have a good time.  But while I was in the midst of this, I realized how this is a pattern I play out in my life.  I insist on trying to be perfect at what I'm doing and when I "TRY" to do something perfectly, my body tightens up and I stop the flow in my life.

When I'm able to stay present (in the NOW) and recognize when I'm doing this,I can relax into what is happening. The flow is now able to come through and my life is so much sweeter and easier. 

If you are feeling a lot of tension and tightness in your body, you might want to stop and get clear about what that tension is trying to tell you.  For me, it's to relax and allow life to flow through me. When I do this, everything works beautifully.

You know I am a rabid T-Tapper. I've been doing T-Tapp for 9 years now and in that time I've seen people achieve the most amazing physical and emotional transformations.

What I wanted to share today is his PACE Workout. PACE stands for Progressive Accelerating Cardio-pulmonary Exertion. YIKES!!! Fancy way of saying interval training. But there is a little more to it than that.

I've been incorporating many of his principles into our T-Tapp routine and the results are evident. Many of us are wearing heart rate monitors and are finding that, by making sure to do two sets of hoe downs throughout the workout we are able to get our heart rate into the super zone. This is allowing us to get the muscle sculpting, lymph pumping benefits of t-tapp with the heart rate training and subsequent fat blasting of the PACE.

What do I mean by "results are evident"? Well, in two weeks of incorporating more PACE into my T-Tapp, I've lost an additional 1.5% body fat!!!   And I haven't changed anything else. The Tappers in class are telling me they are getting stronger and their pants are getting looser!!!
